Dwell:  “to live, to focus.”
Dwell in Me and I will dwell in you. – John 15.4

If you live amidst hurry and noise but are longing to focus on serenity and soul care, join this summer for the Dwell Retreat July 28-30.

Thomasville native Lucinda Secrest McDowell (Cindy), author of 13 books, will guide us through inspirational teaching, storytelling and interactive journaling. Based on her new book, “Dwelling Places,” our time together will include relationships, refreshment, and renewal.

About Cindy:

Cindy, loves returning home to Thomasville, is passionate about embracing life both by drawing closer to God and living courageously — offering “Encouraging Words” to all on the journey. A graduate of Furman University and Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, she also directs the autumn event –  ‘reNEW – retreat for New England Writing.’ Cindy’s favorites include tea parties, good books, laughing friends, ancient prayers, country music, cozy quilts, musical theatre, and especially her family scattered around the world doing amazing things. Her Mama (Sarah Secrest) was born ninety years ago at her grandmother’s home under Thomasville’s Big Oak.
